The violin is one of the most widely recognized instruments in the world. It is an instrument that can be taught to both children and adults. Apart from learning to play beautiful music, the violin has other advantages such as: increased arm strength, improved finger dexterity, better posture, better coordination and motor skills, improved concentration, sharpened memory, lower stress levels, and it also helps boost academic skills. Above all, learning the violin should be fun!
My violin lessons
For beginners we concentrate on the basics to build a solid foundation, as well as, polishing repertoire, proper posture, correct hand and finger placement, improving sight reading skills and helping young students to feel confident allowing them to bring out their natural talent and play their best! Students learn by hearing, imitating, and repeating what they learn the same way people learn their first language. Students usually need a lesson once a week where I give instruction in your home allowing the student to be more comfortable and confident.
